Darren Criss and Kermit the Frog singing “Rainbow Connection”

When Jen (aka spacebetweendreams, aka the Darren to my Kermit) told me about Kermit and Darren signing together for the Oscars Pre-Show, and mentioned the desire for doing some related-artwork… I just had to paint this! I powered through it because I can’t remember the last time I wanted to see something so badly. I would LOVE to see Darren with a guitar, and Kermit with his banjo… Rainbow Connection is such a beautiful song! I can’t wait until tomorrow! 

This was painted in Photoshop CS5, I don’t even know how many hours… pulled an all-nighter and worked like a fiend. So let’s just say lots, and lots of hours :)

Couldn’t have finished without Jen (http://spacebetweendreams.tumblr.com), who gave me not only the inspiration to paint this, but also a constant stream of feedback. You’re the best :D
